East Cornwall Counselling in Liskeard
Welcome
I’m sure you may have started 2020 with a totally different viewpoint to the one you hold now. I certainly didn’t expect the journey I have experienced. So when I ask whether life has been challenging and are you coping as well as you have done in the past, you may find yourself answering very differently to before.
Isolation may have had a different impact on you compared to a family member or friend. Did it heightened a sense of awareness of loneliness? Or did you feel safe and secure? Did you experience the feeling of confinement with the restrictions and a loss of freedom? Maybe, when restrictions were lifted you experienced something different.
Whatever your experience you are a unique human being and that response will be very personal to you and for most, the experience will be manageable.
However, if you are finding it difficult to cope, feeling anxious or depressed, struggling with low self-esteem, confidence or anger or experiencing difficulties in your relationship. Whether it is as a result of the experiences this year or whether you were already finding it difficult you may find counselling useful to help get things into perspective.
Taking time to focus on you and your needs is really important and especially if you are experiencing difficulties. And counselling can be a really good step towards looking after yourself and allows you the opportunity to explore changes in a safe and supportive environment.
I am based in Liskeard Town Centre at BFM House, The Parade, Liskeard, Cornwall and within easy access of nearby parking.
And, for those unable to travel to Liskeard, Cornwall or prefer not to, I offer Zoom or Skype Counselling for Individuals with the same degree of confidentiality as individual face to face counselling.
To allow you the opportunity to see if working with me is right for you I offer a free initial 30 minute assessment. Please feel free to contact me on the number below to discuss further:
